Welcome to SheaByrd Design Lab, where every piece tells a story, celebrates a memory, and connects people through wearable art. Like any small business, this journey has been built one step at a time. Every collection, every event, every conversation, and every person who has supported us has helped shape what SheaByrd has become. Today marks the beginning of our next chapter.

Born and raised among the inspiring landscapes of Colorado, my path has been anything but traditional. The opportunity to play collegiate sports brought me to Texas, and after graduating and hanging up my cleats, Houston became home.

Art has always been part of who I am. Growing up in a family of artists, creativity was simply the way we expressed ourselves. Before I was even born, my dad created an eclectic little bird that he called the SheaByrd. What started as a simple drawing eventually became the symbol that inspired this entire brand.

For years, I wanted to continue my family's artistic legacy, but I knew my canvas wouldn't be paint or sculpture.

Then life changed.

After losing one of my closest friends, I wanted to create something his family and friends could hold onto forever. I designed a hat in his honor. That single piece became much more than apparel, it became a story people could wear. It showed me that clothing could preserve memories, spark conversations, and bring communities together.

That moment became the foundation of SheaByrd Design Lab.

Over the past several months, the brand has grown in ways I never imagined. I was fortunate enough to bring on an incredible business partner who believed in the vision just as much as I did. Together, we've spent the last five months building this brand from the ground up hosting pop-up shops, organizing community events, meeting thousands of people face-to-face, listening to your ideas, and learning what SheaByrd truly means to the people who wear it.

Those experiences changed us.

They pushed us to think bigger.

This rebrand isn't about starting over it's about growing into who we've always wanted to become.

Today, SheaByrd Design Lab is more than hats. It's premium apparel, original artwork, community events, collaborations, and a place where every collection begins with an idea and ends as something people can make their own.

Our mission remains the same: create meaningful designs that people are proud to wear while building a community around creativity, connection, and storytelling.

This new website represents that next step. It's cleaner. It's bigger. It's more intentional. And it's only the next chapter in this journey.
